Table Talk: Marriage

Do NOT miss this event!! We're talking all things marriage Oct. 15 with four male panelists! They will candidly discuss the joys and difficulties of marriage, including parenting, finances and intimacy among other topics.

Have topics you'd like to hear them chat about? Email them to Stephanie at sllorente@prepcomm.com.

  • Chris Llorente - Husband to Stephanie, Chris has supported the idea of Restored from its inception. He's the company's unofficial CFO, lead encourager, and daily anxiety calmer. On the panel, Chris represents marriage to a wife with a self-prescribed work schedule. He can speak to his own heavy travel schedule and what it's like to work from home with a wife who does the same.

  • Dillon Lunn - Husband to Rebecca, Dillon earned his doctoral degree in engineering from NC State University, gained employment with an engineering firm...and then quit his job to write a book. Cool, right? Dillon's panel expertise is that of part-time stay-at-home dad. He will speak to marriage interests around what life looks like when your career path shifts and how he supports their family's home life.

  • Brandon Westmoreland - Husband to Kamella, Brandon is a pastor and dad to three. Brandon brings a unique perspective to our panel because his wife was a nurse with a demanding schedule who recently transitioned to teaching. He immediately said "yes" when asked to contribute his thoughts and Biblical context on marriage to a group of working moms.

  • Adam Leggette - Husband to Amanda and dad of two littles, Adam is a fierce supporter of his wife's TWO businesses. He works in a corporate role and can speak about being married to a budding entrepreneur.

Table Talk: Encouragement with Maghon Taylor of All She Wrote Notes

Maghon Taylor is a happy hand letterer based in North Carolina, and she's on a mission to spread happiness through her handwriting. Her life motto (and the guiding principles of her business, All She Wrote Notes) is “Work Hard, Stay Sweet, Trust God and Love Deep.” She recently authored her first book and is married to her middle school sweetheart, Chris, and mom to Vance.

All She Wrote Notes has partnered with national retailers like Neiman Marcus, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Anthropologie and Swoozies as well as dozens of local businesses in North Carolina. The business has been featured online and in print with publications such as Style Me Pretty, Inspired By This, Wedding Chicks and Southern Bride and Groom. In 2017, Maghon was named Best Calligrapher in the South by Southern Weddings.

Maghon is sure she was put on this earth to encourage others to show their loved ones just how much they are loved. After all, it only takes a second to make someone’s day and spread kindness like confetti.

Join Maghon Sept. 18 at Restored to hear how she incorporates encouragement into her daily routine and how serving as an encourager can positively impact your family.
