Restored Table Talk: Kids + Technology

  • Blush Cowork 200 Shannon Oaks Circle Cary, NC, 27511 United States (map)

Technology can be fun, enlightening and scary all at the same time. Ease of access to the internet along with its ever-changing content can be a point of conflict and potential concern for families. Add in video games, social media and kid-oriented apps, and it’s just too much for parents to sift through. That’s why we’re turning to a recognized expert.

Jess Nye, supervisor of the FBI Cyber Squad in Raleigh, will join us May 4 to talk about kids and technology. As an expert in technology and a resident of North Carolina, Jess will provide us with necessary information for raising kids in an age when we can’t avoid the impacts of technology in our homes. She will share stories, provide resources and help us understand the importance of boundaries. As a mother herself, her goal is not to scare, but to address a major issue in parenting.

We hope you’ll join us as we take a deep dive into something every parent feels ill equipped to handle
