What’s your enneagram number? Fun fact: the two gals running Restored behind the scenes are both enneagram 9s (we weren’t entirely sure, but our recent event confirmed it)!

Our speaker, Kathleen Burton, brought her A game to Thanks A Latte - along with an incredible sense of humor - and taught us how we can integrate the enneagram into our daily lives.

While the enneagram can seem daunting at first, Kathleen helped us understand the funky 9-pointed geometric structure and explained how each personality type engages with others. She also gave clear examples of how she uses the tool each day to navigate a busy life. Here are a few takeaways:

At work:

  • Save time at the office by understanding how to extract productivity and efficiency while earning trust from each personality type

  • Use the tool to understand how you best communicate with and relate to others

  • With work lives and home lives merged due to the pandemic, the enneagram can help enhance communication with both co-workers and family.

At home:

  • Connect with your kids more intentionally by understanding their number and how they see the world.

  • Navigate marriage more effectively by investigating your spouse’s number.

  • Engage with and love your friends by asking them to share their enneagram number.

If you’re interested in knowing more about your number, Kathleen suggested this test. Here are some additional resources:
